As a wife and working mom, I must stay organized. If you are like me, you take your phone everywhere, including work, the grocery store, and even to bed.
Sometimes it can feel like your phone is a distraction. But I’ve learned something important. Your phone can either drain your time or support your life. The difference is how you use it.
There are several apps on my phone that I rely on regularly. I use some apps daily or weekly, but all intentionally.
I use the Calendar app on my iPhone to keep track of important dates and set reminders. It keeps our household running smoothly and prevents missing important deadlines.
The Mail app helps me stay on top of my emails so that no important items are missed.
And while I do enjoy social media and the occasional entertaining video on YouTube or Instagram, I’ve become more mindful of how much time I spend scrolling.
There’s nothing wrong with a little social media entertainment. But I never want social media to replace real life.
I don’t want to miss valuable years with my son, and I want to be present with my husband. I would rather live my own memories than constantly watch someone else’s perfectly curated ones.
So how about you? How do you use your phone for productivity?
