I went to Target late Saturday because I am a glutton for punishment. Just kidding. I really needed to go to Target. And let me tell you, it was packed. But they had some cute things in their Bullseye Playground section. I did not buy anything because I am currently trying to be a better steward of my money and I already have too many knick knacks that don’t get used. But if you are looking for some holiday trinkets, Target had plenty. I would have taken pictures, but there were a lot of people around, and I don’t like making people feel uncomfortable. Plus, I didn’t want to be the dork in Target with her iPhone snapping pictures. But Target had some cut Christmas themed items. They had these cute collectable mini bottles with Christmas themed stuff in it for $1. I thought they were cute, but I didn’t know what to do with them, so I didn’t get any. They also had Christmas mugs. There was a cute set where there was a big mug and a little mug.
They also had some Thanksgiving themed paper plates and dessert napkins. I saw some cheaper dessert napkins at TJ Maxx so I will stick with TJ Maxx on that. I also decided against the paper plates. But I will admit the items were cute.
Also, I went to Dollar Tree the other day, and they had a lot of Christmas items out. I had to control myself not to buy a bunch of the cute stuff that they had. I love that it was for a reasonable price. I have some blog posts coming up showing what I was able to do with some of the stuff I bought. They had ornaments, flowers, candy, decorations. It really put me in the spirit. I started decorating part of my house early when I got home.
I like there are options where you don’t have to spend a lot of money. It is what a lot of people need during these times. Just remember, with creativity, you can do a lot with a little. There are low-cost ways to have fun and enjoy the season.
I am looking forward to this Christmas season which is different for me. I am normally not a Christmas person but this year I am definitely in the Christmas spirit. I am looking forward to seeing all of the things that will unfold this holiday season and sharing some with you. You can read about what I did with some gift bags and decor from Dollar Tree here.
